As usual everything was near perfect. My fried scallops were a tad bit overcooked, but there were plenty of them to eat. Husband’s Chicken dinner was spot on!!

Our waitress was very slow to come over when we first sat. It was not very busy at all and we waited probably 10 minutes. We got a drink order in and an appetizer. The meatballs came out cold in the middle but the waitress was seated at a table with a customer so we couldn’t ask that they at least be warmes up. Our meals came out and the food was fine but again, the waitress never came over to check on us or see if we needed anything. Got the special braised short ribs with pasta and it was excellent. Another nice meal with my family - our favorite restaurant.

I always order a Sangria here, and our server recommended the Seasonal Sangria which she described as having a sugar rim. Usually I order all drinks without rim, but didn’t this time. About 1/2 way through my drink I rubbed the rim with my finger and pushed some into my drink and tasted it from my finger. Clearly it was salt, so I alerted our server. Jen was our waitress and the was wonderful. She was very attentive and both myself and my best friend gave her a well deserved good tip. I had the special of baked haddock florentine and it was DELICIOUS long with mashed potatoes and butternut squash. My friend had the Toasted Ravioli and she thought they were delightful too. I always have a good experience going to the Chateau.
