Good The service at the restaurant facing the was really poor. I tried to eat there twice and there was always an excuse such as understaffed or the cook had just arrived. The breakfast at the other entrance area was great and the staff was friendly. I really liked the hotel's location.
It was fine. I would stay there again just for the location. Beds were very hard. The AC was very cold, but so old the knob on it would not turn, so there was no adjusting it. Still has a chain for the double lock. Door knobs were ancient. Sure needs to updating done. Very beautiful and elegant hotel, but yet very old. Locations was great. Close to bus stops. Shout out to the concierge for helping us out. We are country folk - kind of like a fish out of water in the city. ;)

worth the discount price for an unbeatable view, just not a 5 star hotel. the downstairs is lovely but pretty deceiving. you go from swanky Art Deco to “1980s Ohare vibes” real quick. no natural lighting in the hallways. discolored carpets. hallways with poor ventilation because the smells were LOUD. front handle jiggled the frame itself was stripped, just hanging on. agradable , camas amigables y almohadas , buen descanso para subir al baño el escalón es muy alto , y en las noches para ir al baño cuesta mucho trabajo subir , lo mismo para salir de la tina está muy alto , hay que subir las piernas tanto que se pega uno en las orillas de metal de los carriles de las puertas la cercanía con todos los atractivos de Chicago ,el que mantengan lo viejo del hotel sin dejar de ser cómodo
Great hotel for a weekend trip! Some of the Buckingham Wing hallways/staircases were a bit messy and could use a bit of extra cleaning. The location was very convenient! Only a 10 minute walk from the Institute of Art and other Chicago must see places.
