Chosen due to price and location. You get what you pay for, as they say. The room, especially the bathroom was extremely “tired”. Whereas the room was clean, there was an overriding smell of cigarette smoke. The location was very good, and the common areas of the hotel were very grand.
Altehrwürdiges Hotel in schöner Lage mit engagiertem Personal Die zusätzliche Aufwendung für ein Zimmer im oberen Stock mit Seeblick hat sich gelohnt. Lobenswerte Aufmerksamkeit des Personals zeigt sich an sauberen Zimmern der sofortigen Behebung eines kleinen Wasserschadens oder auch an einem guten Essen in einem eigentlich geschlossenem Restaurant.
Fir the purpose of our trip, the hotel was fine but I doubt I would stay there again. Disappointing restaurant for dinner. Breakfast cafe was fine and food good. Bar didn’t have munchies to go with drinks; had to go to vending machine or order from restaurant around the corner. Felt like our room was too little. Also no control over heat/ac. Called housekeeping and the brought up a fan ( room was already a bit crowded). Location was perfect for our plans.
