The burger was awesome though a little overpriced. I sat at the bar and though the server was busy she was very good. The fries were dead cold but I was in a rush so I accepted them. I will be back in the future but I can wait to go back as the experience was not overwhelming
The Counter is one of those burger joints that does almost everything right, and that makes for some really enjoyable food. Their servers are as upbeat as you can ask a teenaged minimum wage earner to be, and the sources for their food are really good (both in quality and in humanity). Their beer selection is decent, their wine and spirits cover the normal range, solid dessert menu, and their Parmesan cheese fries are solidly good. The burgers here are literally amazing! The flavor is out of this world. Although you could do better on the fries the are always soggy both times ive gone.

Love the counter been going for years. The place is newly renovated. The looks great, seats more people. Same great service if not better sitting at the counter when dining! �
My favorite burger joint in the Bay area. So many choices for their burgers and the fries are great too.
