Everyone is very kind and they do their jobs well. My dad has the smallest room, but it's still plenty big. They have lots of activities, trips, and food options.
The staff are friendly, helpful and always around! The food is great. I highly recommend The Crossings at Riverchase.
I would recommend. We picked because of the activities offered. The fact that they have memory care in case we had to switch to that
The facility was completed in 2022 so it's like new. The independent living apartments are a generous size with cleaning services included once a week. There are many fun activities scheduled each week and residents are allowed to have a pet. Residents have transportation available and may go to different store by shuttle bus to shop any given week. I think monthly cost is in line with other such facilities in the area. Not the highest or the lowest. I have not toured Assisted Living or Memory Care at The Crossings so cannot... read more
Staff is caring and professional. From cleaning crew to the Operations Director everyone is special. We have lived in two other facilities. The Crossings has all the amenities and service in a beautiful facility. This place is new and is in a great location.
The meals are good but main dining room been under repair for several months. Breakfast is weak and important. Should be better when they get back to their main big dining room. I just think they need better breakfast and a little later options but based on the experience I have had with The Crossings I would definitely recommend this community to other families.
My mom was in the memory care area and they definitely didn't have enough nurses to handle the area. They had aides but the aides really didn't do much that I could see. The people were very nice but my mom had issues with her medication so I would say an in-depth meeting with family to go over medication before admission would be #1 on the need to work on list.
The staff is very caring. Several staff members, including caregivers and nurses have approached me, asking how I think my dad is doing and is there anything I think they could do to help him feel more at home. They have also been careful to monitor my dad and update me on any changes to his condition and what plans they have to address issues.
I toured a few facilities for my sociable dad and when I toured The Crossings at Riverchase, I knew that I did not have to look any further. Everything about it is wonderful. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they go above and beyond. The apartments are very nice and comfortable and the activities are amazing. My dad goes to the exercise room every morning and then he reads newspapers in the lovely and well furnished library. He enjoys visiting in the beautiful lobby in front of the cozy electric fireplace. He looks... read more
