Amazing, beautiful gym with tons of new, modern equipment. Locker rooms are equipped, also has a sauna.
It's a nice gym with newer and varied equipment. However, it is almost always very busy. Even earlier in the day when I would go. Also (I am an older male), it has a lot of creepy dudes. People who don't know how to work out and follow around others to do their workout and for comparison on how they are doing. I quit awhile ago and happier for it. Too many weirdos. I feel scammed by Edge Fitness. I gave them my 30-day written cancellation notice, followed their policy exactly, and was STILL charged an annual equipment maintenance fee. Why would I pay for "annual upkeep" when I'll be gone in a few weeks? Customer service gave me the runaround. They said the fee is "in the contract," but that's just a way to squeeze extra money from people on their way out. I've now read dozens of similar complaints -- this seems like a pattern. Membership staff is terrible. They just want your money. Exercise classes are too big and full.
TLDR: Do not sign here! False advertising and broken verbal agreements. Just wants to take your money! I am not one for leaving bad review (or even any review), but Edge really has left me no choice. I signed up for Edge in November 2023 in Delaware. Upon starting, I let them know that I will be moving to Connecticut in July 2024 (currently residing), and they stated that I would be able to cancel my membership at that time.
