Disgusting customer service, lazy! Homeless everywhere cars broken into too often security is only out to tow guest cars not to secure. Dirty overpriced apartments

Horrible, DO NOT MOVE HERE!! The managers don't care about you and treat you as you were an employee working for them. We put in four maintenance requests over the years and not once did they fix it. They then charged us after the lease and they said they never received them. I actually documented them and spoke with the maintenance guy almost every day and told him. We pay $100 for parking but they over sold spots. If you had to park in a reserved spot they would tow you. I always pay my rent on time through the portal a... read more

This place has been a nightmare since we moved in. On day one we reserved a time with the leasing office to move in early in the morning before the office was open. We came the day before to pick up the keys and they were not ready. We missed our time because we were never given the keys. The leasing agent left before giving them to us. Once they opened they said other tenants had them and to figure it out. After our tour we were completely treated as an afterthought. Overall, the Edison is a nice building but by no means would I classify it as the luxury apartment they claim it to be. There are plenty of issues that need to be address and fixed. Some of the on going issues at the Edison are: homeless people breaking into the garage/cars, quite hours are rarely enforced, onsite security always seems to be missing in action, and residents are apparently allowed to keep storage/trash on their patios (shown in picture below). Going on a couple months here. Don't. Just don't move here. I've spent the majority of my time dealing with the problems in construction. Pretty sure this place was built by toddlers. I'm 100% sure the place is now run by toddlers. Month 1: Our dishwasher wasn't installed properly. Turns out they never turned the water on to it. When they did turn the water on it flooded my kitchen. The thing that bugs me is that I'm looked at like the bad guy when I bring this up. How would I have any control over this? Starting with lots of unfinished and faulty things in the apt, walls and floors with stains and badly finished/bathroom shower door/flooding in my roommates closet/not having the 2nd balcony we were promised/ elevators-doors-garage trash shut among others malfunctioning or not working at all/ electrical problems/hallway/ amenities finished way later than what was promised... I would NEVER recommend The Edison to anyone for many reasons... The Edison is NOT SAFE and SECURE. The garage door is not fully functional. It has been broken many times including right now. It is left open day and night, so anyone can get in. I've seen intruders trying to break into vehicles that don't belong to them. And the intruders are not far away at all. There is a shelter less than a block away and roaming tent communities within the area. Those people have nothing to lose and everything to gain off unsecure... read more
