Very complicated explanation GP started trying to get a referral for Eyelid Surgery in October 2021 Got an appointment April 2022 with Dr Platt who does the Eyelid Surgery I was with Dr Clary who is an excellent ophthalmologist and would love to have continued with him.. The fastest way to improve The Eye Center is to show Platt the door. The staff was great, however, I would not recommend Platt to anyone. He was an arrogant unprofessional, condescending jerk that speaks to people as if they are idiots.
Not a good experience. Referred by my eye doctor for a cyst on my left eyeball. The physician was smug and arrogant. The technician could see the raised cyst and I can see it. I WAS referred for a reason!! He assumed I was referring to my cornea. Had this smirk on his face the entire time- looking at the technician, then back at me as if I was a moron because he couldn’t see it. Says nothing is wrong, told me to get something over the counter for irritation. Eye remains irritated and cyst still present. So disappointed
RecommendedThe doctors here may be good, but the wait time to be seen is awful. I have been taking my elderly aunt here, for years. It takes 2 hours between being called back, to having to wait in another waiting area, before the actual doctor sees you. I dread coming here, for that reason. For a 10:10 appointment, we were in room number two at 11:30, still hadn’t seen the doctor!
I’ve tried to get an appointment,it was impossible,even I’ve told the lady I have an eye infection . She recommended me to find another provider! Ridiculous and unacceptable!
I was very disappointed in my yearly eye exam visit to The Eye Center today. And, to be clear, not in Dr. Platt, but the overall visit. My appointment was for 12:45 p.m. I checked in at 12:35 p.m. and I was called back at 12:40 p.m. The eye pressure check, along with other brief eye tests and the dialation of my eyes was completed by 1:00 p.m. After that, I was taken to the waiting room and told that I would be called to see the doctor. It’s sad that Dr Clary is examining patients in the office without wearing a mask. A doctor should have more respect and concern for his patients. Dr Clary also schedules all his patients, he is sending to the Columbia Eye Clinic, to arrive at the same time. They left elderly people sitting in their cars, some who did not have any working A/C. Because he schedule all the patients procedures at the same time there is only one chair between patients....nowhere close to the 6 ft social distancing. Another example of doctors put... read more
