The admission experience was one of the best. The admission staff went above and beyond to ensure the resident’s needs were met. On admission day all departments met with resident to orient facility policies. Medication could be dispensed in a more timely manner, facility cleanliness could be improved, but overall the service is above average compared to other facilities. The staff there was fantastic and really seemed to care! We visited daily so there was no issue with how my mother-in-law was treated but truth be told the place is kind of run down. We would have moved her but she was comfortable there and did not want to move.
The staff have been absolutely wonderful, they are so caring. They go out of their way to do numerous things for us without charging us anything extra. We have been so pleased with everything so far. The assistant director [name removed] and director [name removed] has been wonderful to work with so far. This is a small community and it seemed clean when we visited. The staff we met were nice. They offer respite stays and some activities.
My Mom was there for a short time.....But I found this facility to be awesome! It was a really nice place!!
Really nice clean place with lots of caring staff. I was invited for a lunch tour, their food was prepared by an experienced chef who came and introduced himself to my family and I. Very impressed at the Southern Charm and the fact that is was the only place I could find without any deficiencies! Excellent place!
It was a nice place. 80's decor but clean. There are no rooms available on the first floor and the rooms are very far from the entrance. Not sure about the prices.
Thanks to the dilligence of the PCP at Lake Alfred , the nurse’s expertise My husband is alive today Their care is exceptional The meal unfortunately there’s no special diet , it’s one meal for all The client must learn to control their own. The rooms are pretty expensive The cleanliness could be better and control How resident keep their room and the Recreational area. The kitchen personnel Need to show more humanity
My grandma was in this place. She is now passed on. I have been getting the run around about getting her stuff. It has been over a month and a half now. No calls back and the staff when they do give you different stories all the time. As a nurse I would never treat someone who just lost a love one like this. Absolutely disrespectful.
