This company is not very reputable. An employee put a large crack on our ceiling while finishing up the installation of a repaired sash in our attic ***** window. It has been four months of calling without getting a return call from the owner. They dont even deserve a 1 star but I am forced to choose a star.
Very disappointed with Glass Guru The initial visit for measurements was fine, but from that point on, everything went way downhill.We had 5 windows replaced and one was already cracked less than a month after installation.We made multiple calls to the office over a period of 8 months for a replacement to no avail. We finally contacted a different company and have paid to get the window replaced properly a second time. The company has no integrity and does not honor its warranty. Kept delaying our request for the warranty work and refuses to answer our calls. It has gotten to a point that the lady that answers the phone, Erica has resorted to hanging up on us. We were assigned a case number, *****, but Glass Guru kept making excuses and refuses to honor the warranty. Was forced to assign a star in order to complete the submission of this review. The Glass Guru does not deserve even a star. This company cannot be trusted.
These folks are terrible. Was looking for an estimate, they came and measured, couldn't put the framing piece back in place that they removed to measure property, and ended up putting two additional cracks in the window. Aside from the window issue, they ignored to emails, 3 phone calls and i even sent a note to corporate and never received a response from them. Not sure how these guys stay in business.
WARNING: DO NOT USE GLASS GURU SERVICES. I WISH I COULD GIVE THEM ZERO STARS I had the worst contractor experiences with this company. They came to do the work, broke my window, and left. They failed to communicate with me on the timing to get back to fix the window, so I reached out. They said they would get back to me by certain dates, and never met those deadlines. I can not put into words the horrible experience I have had with this company. Let me first start by sharing the gentleman that came out to give the estimate was extremely nice, professional, and was a great pleasure to work with. Some of the other folks that work in this establishment not so much. I called to schedule an estimate for their proprietary system that fixes foggy windows and they came out and pulled a bait and switch quoting prices to replace the panes of glass instead of doing the treatment. I was not home so I called the next day and they said they have not had the kits since September 2019 so they cannot provide that service. I have used Glass Guru several times in the past. Prior experience has been fine. This most recent experience was not. The estimator showed up on time and was polite. The man who installed the glass did a good job. The problem is in the office. The receptionist put in the wrong time. I had 10:30. Apparently she put in 11:30. By 10:40 when no one had showed up, I called to confirm the day and time. The receptionist said it was for 11:30. When I disputed this, she expressed no apology. Went to this company without checking them out because they were recommended by Lowes. Big mistake. We took a window and door to the company for glass repair on 10/5. Window and door were from a rental, we wanted the work done by the end of the month to avoid problems with the landlord. Was told the work would take 2 weeks, 3 weeks max.
