We brought in some kitchen cabinet doors for custom partially etched glass. Because of the way the doors are hinged, the only way we could measure where the etching needed to end, was from the bottom of the door frame. We were very specific about how we measured when we brought in the doors. The person in the shop wrote it down incorrectly and we did not catch the error when the quote came through. We had a terrible experience with Glass Guru! Two windows they installed were installed incorrectly with no flashing, etc. The windows leaked. Mold grew on walls, insulation and carpet behind built-in cabinets. Two contractors confirmed leak was caused by shoddy workmanship. One said it looked like a job done by untrained "newbies." In trying to resolve the issue, we found Glass Guru's staff to be very uncooperative, especially Richard W. the Sales Director who was belligerent, hostile, confrontational.
