The only part of the experience that was a bit disconcerting was when they pitched a specialized treatment of Lasik that would have cost and extra $500.00 (on top of the 4K I already dished out) but I decided against it for two reasons: a) I am not big on making decisions under pressure (this was pitched right before I was to go in for the "regular" procedure). b) There was only a 60-70% chance that it would produce "better" results than the regular treatment (and the Lasik is amazing in itself). I wanted to give credit where it’s due, however their Facebook page and website are not doing their business and service justice. The staff at LASIK Vision Institute in Downtown Brooklyn are the friendliest, honest, down to earth and profession team I have given business to in a long time. This organization has taken great care of me. They informed me I only needed surgery in one eye, so it was half the price! The entire service is a well-oiled machine, but with quite a human touch. Actually beauty may be a hiring requirement for this office. All lovely people! Magdalia, Farah, Ossy, Anell, Dr Van and Andrea – all professional and attentive.
