I will start with the positive aspects because there are several. The staff were very responsive to all inquiries and the venue is absolutely beautiful. The problems began the day of the wedding. This venue does not allow anyone to even drop any decorations off prior the time that they determine (which was not sufficient in our situation) and when guests began showing up, all the tables weren’t even set yet with plates, silverware, and napkins. I got married in July. Let me start by saying Morgan Creek Barn is a stunning wedding venue. I had about 200 guests and the reception still felt open with a large space in the middle for a dance floor. The staff is pleasant over the phone. Close to 4 weeks out, I had not heard anything from the venue. Luckily, I hired a separate day of coordinator who took matters into her own hands. Beautiful venue. Only got to see bathroom and hallway and wedding chapel. Rude staff left us outside in 98+ temp because wec arrived too early. After getting tacky with her we were allowed to be hurriedly shuffled directly down the hall to a time room that was already full of people. It was the hostage room for bride and grooms family! Where there to start. Positives: the venue itself is so beautiful. Its breath taking. Everythintg else was kind of the worst. They lost my email and instead of contacting my fiance they just decided to never communicate. They finally called me a three months before my wedding and blame me. My email is my first and last name. They knew my first and last name. They wrote my email down with my first and last name spelled wrong. We signed our contract with the original owners and when they were bought we started having problems. During the planning process we were asked if we wanted to pay for someone else's fireworks. I told our coordinator that I was having issues with my father and he probably wouldn't be coming to the wedding. On the wedding day the coordinator had someone e else call my father to find out if he was coming. It was none of her business as he wasn't walking me down the aisle. The Milestone is the best venue anyone can choose for their wedding. The staff and event coordinators are absolutely amazing. My special day wouldn't have been the best day of my life without all of the Milestone employees from the event coordinator to the chefs. The event coordinator is the aboslute best you can ask for. They helped me from start to finish and if I had a quick question would always answer my calls day or night to answer them.
