Needs more restaurants around and some type of store goods sold inside like chips and pop..But everything else was excellent
No concierge to advise on tours, restaurants etc. Very poor quality toilet paper. No corkscrew for wine in room bar Roof top closed - not obvious on reservation
This is a newly gentrifying area of DC (according to a 30 year resident I spoke with). While the area is nice it is off the beaten path to access the main DC area. Ubers back late at night were $45 from the White House area. The Hotel is right on the tracks (Amtrac and Redline). be prepared for train whistles and rumbling.
The facility was beautiful and convenient but the front desk staff were very stand offish and acted like we were a bother if we asked anything like where good restaurants were, etc
Clean as a whistle We enjoyed our stay. The corner room was spacious, great daylight, comfortable bed and it actually had an amazing shower and by that I mean the water PRESSURE was great! We went for the Cherry Blossoms. The hotel was very neat, clean, and smelled amazing. It was quite the uber ride to the museums and monuments. The restaurants in the area were plentiful and delicious. We'd definitely stay again.
