I really can't say enough about this place. My 96 year-old father has been there for about two years and just moved down to Reflections, their memory care unit. LCB is a relatively small company and their inter-departmental communication is superb. They respond quickly and personally to any individual need and are fully aware that older people aged differently and unpredictably. My parents were initially very happy with this facility. Everyone was very welcoming and the residents all seem to look out for each other. And the staff are kind and helpful. But recently they have had a lot of change in leadership with executive director leaving, the nursing director, memory care, and engagement. LC B has been in this industry for a long time but sadly this is the state of for profit health care in America even in communities like Chestnut Hill. I am a vendor that works in Reflections regularly (I'm an entertainer). I perform at assisted, memory care, and independent living facilities, I've probably been to 40-50 in Metro Boston. Reflections, under Christina, is INCREDIBLY well run. The residents are happy, safe, and engaged. The staff is warm, professional, and on top of it. Really impressed.
At this point, I can only speak to the intake/admission process because my parents are just moving in. It was seamless and amazing. Jennifer, the sales/admission coordinator is absolutely amazing. She made the process very smooth and was very responsive to all of our questions and needs. The kickoff/opening meeting was fantastic. The executive director is wonderful. I feel very sure that my parents will have a good experience here.
My mother moved to The Residence at Boylston Place six months ago and is very happy. She adjusted to her new community easily. The staff at all levels is wonderful and immediately made her feel welcome in her new home. The food is very good with a wide variety.
