We searched for almost a year for Assisted living for my 84-year-old mother. My father had passed away, and my siblings knew my mother needed to be social again. As soon as we visited Ferry Park, we were warmly greeted by staff and residents and immediately knew we had found the perfect place.! It would be nice if the dining room daily specials were listed along with the daily activities each morning...I think the residents should know what the daily specials are before going to the dining room.

We looked into Ferry Park for a memory care placement for our mom, and we found the staff to be transparent, timely and extremely helpful. Everyone we worked with showed the utmost professionalism, and the staff genuinely appears to care for their residents, the families of residents, and each other. People working there seem very happy, and there appears to be a very structured program in place with high expectations for residential care. I have been searching for an assisted living/memory care facility for my mom for about 3 years. I have toured many facilities in the greater Hartford area and keep coming back to the Residence at Ferry Park. The thing I like best about Residence at Ferry Park is the price. They don't nickel and dime you for everything. You pay one price, with everything included. While you might pay a little more, it's way less stressful not having to worry about any unforeseen extras each month. It's also a great atmosphere, which I feel right when I walk in the door.

I would definitely recommend The Residence at Ferry Park to anyone looking. I think that they go above and beyond for their residents and my mom seems much more content since she moved here. The atmosphere is more vibrant for the residents and they have a lot of great activities provided. The facility was just recently renovated so it looks brand new. My mom said that it is very cold and for some reason they cannot turn on the heat until October 10th so a lot of the residents have been colder. It would be great if they could... read more

I would recommend it, it is just very expensive. You have to have some money to be able to do this. This location has 1 floor. The memory care unit is a locked unit. The food is very good. Laundry services are done regularly. The staff call if they have any concerns or questions regarding my loved ones care. The staff has been wonderful really. Billing is setup on auto draft. Administrative staff has been very good as well.
