My Mom is genuinely happy here. I could cry happy tears writing this. I just received a picture of her at a concert. And then she went out to lunch with her friends. I don’t think my mother has left her home in 3 years. I don’t know how the staff there did it, but they get her out on their van, and she’s so happy to share her day with me at the end of the day. So much to tell me. We visited lots of places, the staff here sold us. They’ve continued to amaze us.
Freeman Lake was the best decision we could have made for our Mom. They have welcomed her with open arms and we have such peace of mind knowing she is safe, well cared for, and enjoying this time in her life! Mom has new friends and the socialization has been an absolute godsend. She enjoys happy hour, playing a good card game, bingo, movies in the "cozy" room as she calls it. This community is one of the best ones out there! The team is authentic and that is hard to find. They are helpful & kind. The residents are always busy and the lobby is always vibrant with activity! Every time I visit there are residents talking, reading, doing exercises in the lobby! I highly recommend this community to anyone who is looking to place a loved one!
Staffing and variety of food has been an issue for sure. We understand staff shortages, but sandwiches for dinner especially with the rate increase isn't acceptable.
We moved my Mom to Freeman after a series of falls at home. The management was attentive to any questions we had during move in. I’ve always felt welcomed by the staff, the residents are even welcoming, we felt a sense of community and know this was the right place for her.
So grateful to have found Freeman Lake. Mom is very well taken care of in memory care. She needs lots of care/ attention and it’s top notch. Food is excellent. I’m there almost every night and eat there too. Great activities and the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so kind and compassionate to all the residents. There are some very difficult families that I’ve watched demand the impossible and they still make it happen. This kind of work isn’t easy, I praise the staff!
We work closely with The Residences in providing hospice services within their community. The RCD is attentive to any of our staff that are providing care to her residents, she accurately provides care updates to our team, and is a great liaison between families, residents, doctors, and myself. We meet monthly with The ED, who also knows the residents well, and what care they would need, it’s impressive. I live here at the residence and am very happy with my families choice. The food is top notch and the aids are all lovely. Everyone is very helpful and amazing. The events are a good time. The other residents are friendly
The residence at freeman lake is a welcoming place very clean and everyone who works here are awesome and know how to care for my grandma. Whenever I needed something I’d ask for her and they are always there to assist
