My mom is doing great at The Residence at Melrose Station! The staff are taking very good care of her. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would absolutely recommend this community to other families! It is not cheap but it is worth the money.
We've had to lean quite heavily on their expertise and caring recently. The people there are great - every single one of them are spectacular, from the cleaning crew, to the front desk, to nursing. We couldn't ask for better. Every single person has welcomed our entire family and has their eye out for all of us. It really is a wonderful place. It's very clean. I've eaten multiple meals there. Everything I tried was good, and the service was very good. Our whole experience has been fantastic.

They offer acctivities, but I have not partcipated in any yet. The staff is very welcoming. If your loved one needs independent living, then this would not be a good match for them. It is moreso designed, for those who need assisted living.

The decision of where/how to care for a parent is extremely emotional for any parent(s) & children. The Residences eased every anxiety from the moment we walked in the building and in turn as we met each team member. The common areas at The Residence at Melrose Station always look clean, especially when comparing to other senior living communities. The staff is very friendly. I am impressed that every time I call in, they know exactly who I am. The department heads are often the ones who answer my questions, which is very reassuring. Similarly, the care being provided is great. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they have really stepped up to protect the residents and are doing much more than they usually do for no added cost. I really can't give enough Stars for how good this place is! My Aunt [name removed] has been there since May and her life is so much better now, from the food to the staff, accommodations and more. She has her independence and we don't have to worry about her. From the little things like making sure she takes her medicine to exercise classes. She has met new friends and is so busy every day. I suggest going for a look see if you have an aging family member. Outstanding care!
Moving my independent, yet lonely mom from her home at the age of ninety was very difficult for her. As it should be. After two days of living in the Residence at Melrose she said, " this is the best thing ever suggested to me" She is correct. My family chose the Residence at Melrose Station for my mother because of the staff’s unique combination of imagination and commitment. It was very important to us that our mother be intellectually challenged as well as physically cared for.
