Two years ago we were looking for an assisted living facility for our family member. We visited many places and The Residence at SW Farms was our last stop. Talk about saving the best for last! The staff and administrators go out of their way to make sure residents are well cared for, healthy, safe, entertained and well nourished. Top notch in every way!

I love most of the Aid's they take care of mom. The place is clean. They do a lot with their memory care patients. They have different theme parties like once a month for all residents. They incorporate Memory Care with their Assisted Living Residents when they have music. They have a garden for memory care members. I really like their Memory Care Director as well as their activity coordinator. Memory Care go out for coffee on Monday. Clean, Caring attentive staff, on site dr visits, nurses, aids, dining room, activities, hair salon/barber shop. We check 3 other facilities within walking distance and by fair we were and are VERY happy with her care for the last year she has lived there!

My husband was only there for a month but in that time I would rate each category a 5. Everyone was very kind and accommodating to the people there. The facility was very clean which was the first thing I noticed when I first visited. They were very good at keeping me up to date on what was going on with my husband and would call with any concerns.

Some of aides get to know their patients liked and dislikes. They know my mom loves music so sometimes they go in singing to her. They have a new memory care director who is also very sweet and cares about all the Residents. They play music in the hallway sometimes they will find mom swaying to the music. Overall we really like it here!

It is expensive but knowing that she's safe, well fed, medical care, is worth it all and more. It took her 3-4 months to get acclimated. She was use to her own home, own car and going where ever and when ever she chose. For 3-4 months other than meals she stay in her apartment. Now we call and she's too busy to answer!
