Some of aides get to know their patients liked and dislikes. They know my mom loves music so sometimes they go in singing to her. They have a new memory care director who is also very sweet and cares about all the Residents. They play music in the hallway sometimes they will find mom swaying to the music. Overall we really like it here!
It is expensive but knowing that she's safe, well fed, medical care, is worth it all and more. It took her 3-4 months to get acclimated. She was use to her own home, own car and going where ever and when ever she chose. For 3-4 months other than meals she stay in her apartment. Now we call and she's too busy to answer!

[name removed] has not lived at The Residence at South Windsor Farms for more than a year. The food service was the best thing. As a comparison, my mother transferred to the [community name removed] and all they never offered were the specials. They pretended they didn't have a regular menu. The food was the worst thing there. Unfortunately she now in a long term care facility.

Great staff everyone is very friendly and accommodating. The facility is very clean and all of the residents are very happy. It is a great place to live and the staff care about the residents. Excellent facility.
I visited this community as I was searching options for my dad. The community had a sign to welcome me for my visit which I thought was very nice. The community was clean and bright. A nice woman helped a resident read a card she got in the mail that day. It was a nice feeling to know that they go beyond their normal duties to help the people who live there. The sales director was very nice and able to answer all my questions. My dad is looking forward to moving into his new apartment!
I stopped into the Residence at South Windsor Farms to look for memory care options for my mother-in law. I’ve seen many options in the area today and what resonated the most with me when making this difficult decision was the friendliness of the staff, the feel of the neighborhood, the residents were clean, well taken care of and out and about. The residence at South Windsor Farms was a wonderful and family like atmosphere. The staff was very engaging. The food selection was impressive. The menu had more items than some restaurants the Director of marketing [name removed]was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions and concerns. I enjoyed my visit.
