The Residence is a great facility with good food. The staff is nice and are responsive to the residents needs. Depending on the mobility level of your loved one, transportation may or may not be difficult. The one instance that we wanted to use it, we were unable to due to mechanical issues. Although this service is not promised and the staff were honest about their complication that day, it was still slightly inconvenient - to no fault of the community. We thought the activities were great at this community. Our loved one didn't always participate in them, but she really enjoyed bingo. They always have a movie playing for the residents when they came back from lunch. They had different events always going on, one time they had a pizza party and after the party the brought in live entertainment. The residents can order any type of food for their meals. They kept my uncle alive a full year longer than we would have expected. They did an incredible job with his care and keeping up his health. We cannot say enough good things about them and the care they offered. I would easily put any member of my family here again. During the Covid-19 pandemic, they went way above and beyond our expectations. The community was always immaculate and the staff were always professional. There was not one thing about The Residence that I wanted to criticize or correct.
When my dad suffered a medical emergency last year, it was clear that my parents couldn't stay in their 3 story home after recovery. We searched for an assisted living facility in their town to give them that familiarity. I visited 3 area assisted living facilities and knew the moment I walked into the Residence, that that was the right one. The Residence is beautiful, very clean, and well decorated. One of the best facilities in the area. The staff is caring and cheerful. They took excellent care of my friend. When I toured the facility it felt like home. Making the decision for my friend was difficult but I knew it was the right place for her it is a beautiful and immaculate place with a phenomenal dining experience. No regrets in making this decision
Very nice.
This is a newer spotless community. The staff are responsive, have good communication and they go out of their way to help. The food is good, well balanced and they have a wide variety. This community is a little more expensive, however it is worth the money and I would recommend it.
