Appraisal estimates were usually off by about a couple hundred dollars. Early in the process I asked about the Closing Cost estimate, which Chris gave me, but I hadn't realized I should've also asked about the Prepaids and Other Cost estimates, which was significantly higher than other lender estimates. Other lenders we spoke with were very open to disclose all costs. Jennifer made the process tougher by not including all details she needed for paperwork.
