The best thing about these apartments is the location. However, if you value good customer service or expect the property’s appearance to match its prime location, you may want to look elsewhere. Verbal agreements often change without notice, and the garbage disposal system frequently breaks, resulting in visible trash, especially on weekends. It’s sad to say but I have seen the decrease in overall quality in the three years that I was there. Don’t call! They will not answer and they do not call you back.
A wonderful place to live. Great neighbors, staff, and home. Even after living here over a year, there's not really anything to complain about. It has fairly average amenities, but at least it has them. My main issue is the lightbulbs. The connectors are non-standard, and the bulbs are more expensive than average. You'd think, in light of this, they would be provided by the maintenance team, but you are required to purchase them yourself. From the first moment I contacted the leasing office inquiring about the apartments, to the moment I received my key, the entire experience was professional and stress free. I love my apartment! I’m able to walk to get anything I want or need. Living at The Winterfield at Midlothian has all the convenience’s of the city with the safety of the suburbs!
I am consistently and constantly impressed with the Winterfield team. A month and a half ago I went to them and told them I’m concerned about the intersection leaving the apartments. There have been several times I have almost been T-boned by people going 45 on a 25 road, when you can’t see anything turning left.
