We were so excited to get a new Italian restaurant in Plainfield, and we weren’t disappointed. The soups and breadsticks are amazing. The sausage potato and white bean soup was delicious. It is more like a bean soup. We really enjoyed the meatballs as an appetizer with the breadsticks. We were surprised at how many breadsticks they gave us. We had great food and great drinks! The portions were smaller than expected, though still very filling. We had the meatball appetizer which was delicious. The only thing we found disappointing was that there was not a house bread brought to the table. It seems like a staple for Cunningham and we were expecting it to be the same for Theo’s especially since most Italian restaurants provide a house bread. All in all everything we ordered had amazing flavor and wonderful presentation.

We had a great evening at Theos. Our server was outstanding. Yes, they were very busy. A bit noisy, but fun to hear kitchen call out orders when food was ready. Will definitely return. Reservations recommended.

The service was great. The food was good with the exception of the build-your-own pinsa. It was fairly tasty, but the toppings were skimpy.
