Food was very good. As a brand new restaurant they are experiencing the expected service delays associated with training new people. Bar service was particularly slow the entire evening. It was too long waiting to place our food order, but once we did, the food came out in timely fashion, but our order for second round of drinks didn’t arrive until we were finished with food. All things that I’m sure will be smoothed out given a little time. We are pretty frequent diners at Cunningham restaurants and they always provide good... read more
It was ok. Had pasta but wouldn’t order again. If we go again I think we’d order a few pinsas and split them amongst the group. Calamari/shrimp app was ok. Brussels sprouts Caesar light on the Brussels sprouts. Not bad. I noted in OT we were celebrating a birthday (mine) but no mention of it was made and we said nothing because we were ready to go and none of the desserts sounded appealing. I’m really glad Stone Creek is still nearby.
What a wonderful experience we had. We started with the Parmesan chicken pastina soup and the minestrone. The chicken soup was one of the best soups I have ever had. A little slow service but they did just open. The pasta may have been in the kitchen a bit before being served. I would have liked it to be hotter when served.
Great new restaurant! Food is fantastic!! It’s a must try!!!
This was only day 2 of Theos being open, so we wondered how smoothly things would go. Turns out that CRG pulled off another fabulous new restaurant. Food and service were a complete delight!
We usually don't go to restaurants on opening night but we decided to give Theo's a go. Started with the breadsticks which were excellent. My wife enjoyed the pizza (called Pinsa on their menu). I had pasta which was also very good. Glad to have another restaurant option in Plainfield.
Very slow service and just mediocre food. Folks were nice there but probably won’t go back.
Bar service was slow, finally got drink when meal arrived. My favorite item since it opened was the Pizza.! Loved it. The completely changed the recipe and tastes like frozen pizza now. Big fan of Cunningham Restaurants, but this one is going downhill.
