Seems they saved the table right by the door for the open table reservation. Freezing every time someone opened the door. Sushi was great, app sampler ok. Would’ve rated higher but the spot we were given was disappointing. Maybe next time...
Service was great as was the food
Food was the level of quality to be expected at the price. Our table for 2 was uncomfortably close to other tables; something one would expect in Manhattan, not Long Island. Asked for more bread but never got it. My wife was served her decaf coffee, but I wasn't served my regular coffee at the same time. I waited a while, but then finally had to ask for it. Overall, an average experience at an average restaurant.
We always dine here and love the food and the restaurant but the service was exceptionally slow. Food came out without the fixings and drinks were forgotten we even received the wrong dish on one of our orders but ate it as it’s delicious and didn’t want to wait to get the correct dish. I guess you can’t get it right all the time and was told there was a big party upstairs. Still, the food is fantastic and usually have no problems.
Very good food. Menu was varied. Service was a bit slow. Other tables served a bit faster than ours with other waitstaff. However very pleasant.
I went with my kids after a long day in the city.I understand it’s the holiday.my kids 13 and 12 ask for bread to dip in cold meatball app and waited 1/2 hour .my daughters black Angus was suppose to come with mashed potatoes and it came with roasted.i had a glass of wine and I waited for our server to come back so I can order one more and I was done eating already.she wanted mashed and not roasted..felt like service was just under par. it’s the first time without mom around that I tried to do something special for my kids a... read more
I was very happy with the food but we had to wait 45 minutes for the table with a reservation and all they kept saying was that they were very busy. Sorry that was unacceptable.
The food and services are excellent. Will be back again.
We enjoyed our dinner during Restaurant week. It was a great value- The best part is we went there and didn’t realize it was during restaurant week! The food is top notch, and drinks were good too! We will definitely be back!
