We've been to Thom Thom quite a few times. Never been disappointed. This visit we were a large table, of 16. The food and drinks were good as always, but the service could have been a little better. It was restaurant week, so I'm sure that they were very busy. But knowing we had a large table coming in (booked a few weeks in advance), I feel they should have had an extra person to help our table. Even if to just keep up on drinks/food running. The calamari appetizer is EXCELLENT! The noise level was rather annoying, perhaps because there was a large party right next to us... During restaurant week, regular size portions were served!
We went here to experience restaurant week. Everything about our night was great. Except for the quality of the food. We ordered off of their special restaurant menu. The food quality seemed semi-old as if the special meals were mass-cooked ahead of time. Just didn't taste fresh. Maybe we'll try again in the future with their regular menu, but I doubt it.
I went with three other couples for restaurant week. Appetizers were really good. I throughly enjoyed my steak with Gorgonzola and mushroom. Unfortunately, the other seven people did not enjoy their meals. Pork chop was dry and paella didn't have much flavor.
Good food, good service, nice bar and staff. Would highly recommend to friends and family.
We were a party of 8. A number of our friends had been there years ago and said the food this time was very good and much improved over the past. We were seated in a curved corner booth which was very inconvenient, requiring multiple people to slide out when someone on the inside wanted to use the restroom. The sushi was amazing
great value for restaurant week -humongous and delicious portions
We like the atmosphere at Thom Thom. We made a reservation and, though it was early, we were seated by the bar. Usually I prefer the main restaurant, but it was Sunday, the bar was light and the game was on. Food is always very good. Fresh and tasty. Prices are average for Long Island. I recommend you give it a try. Sushi rolls looked outrageous,
