The restaurant was understaffed which is a shame because the food was very good. I was also a little nervous because I felt that the restaurant was NOT following Covid protocol. When we arrived, it felt socially distanced. We were there over 2 hours because the wait staff was overwhelmed. We waited long for our drinks. As we were there, the restaurant began to fill up as well as the bar area. Did not feel safe.
I absolutely love ThomThom! The food is always cooked to perfection, tasty and fresh. The service is top notch. This is a hidden gem that all must experience.
Food and service was great. Would recommend to friends and can’t wait to return.
Service was very slow considering we were the only ones sitting for the first hour. Definitely not even close to the level of Rare or Insignia... expected much more for the prices. The bathroom downstairs looked and smelled like an elementary school bathroom. There was gnats flying around our faces a bit. Food was pretty good but will not return.
Great restaurant. Food was delicious and service was excellent Restaurant had glass partitions separating booths from other diners. All staff were wearing masks correctly.

Second time we’ve been to ThomThom and we will definitely be back. First time we stayed outside, this time we had originally planned to eat outside again, but it was a bit windy and they accommodated our request to move inside. Service is attentive. Drinks are on point. Food is delicious. My gf got the Chilean Sea Bass and I got the Filet Mignon with a Lobster Tail. Everything was excellent. We also split the appetizer sampler. We generally come to Thom Thom several times a month, and the food is always fantastic. The filet mignon and the duck were absolutely delicious, and the shrimp tempura rolls were the perfect starter! Service was exemplary (thanks Keri) and the wine was wonderful. Excellent experience (as always) and we will be back! Local favorite in Wantagh.
Kitchen was overwhelmed, service was poor. When one meal was returned to be cooked more it was returned still not fully cooked.
