I had to keep asking for updates instead of getting them proactively I realize why it took so long but the situation with the heirs wasn't a last minute surprise and should have been dealt with much earlier- same with the permits

Tippi was fantastic. On the otherhand, Donald, from the Mortgage Firm, was the painful part of the experience; we almost backed out of the deal because of interactions with him. First of all, when referring to one's personal finances (excluding the fact that many very personal questions are needed to be asked as part of the process), his method of communicating lacked a lot of tact, speaking to us as if we were managing HIS money (rude), making an already heavily invasive process almost unbearable. The way the lending system seems to be set up causes a great deal of unnecessary stress. For example; receiving documents that are important and complicated to read through and only given a few hours to read and sign them. Most people work and many times can’t devote time to person business like this until they get home at night, and then it says that it has to be read, signed and sent back before midnight! It’s just wrong, and the mortgage lenders need to do better…your institutions charge a lot of money for your service... read more
