The staff at the Providence center are amazing! If you are thinking of having eye correction surgery, go to TLC Providence! You’ll be well cared for! I was a better candidate for PRK so we went with that. I’m 7 hours post op and am feeling great! The vision in the eye we did today is already better than before the procedure! I’m anxiously awaiting the time to come for the second eye.
Immediately following the procedure, I sat up and could read the clock on the wall, something I haven’t been able to do in years. I got my first pair of glasses in middle school and started wearing contacts in high school, but this morning, less than 18 hours after the procedure, I woke up and could see! This past Feb 17th marked my One Year Anniversary for my LASIK. I can't put into words how happy I am that I finally took the plunge (just after turning 40) and had this done. I should have done it sooner. How awesome it is to wake every morning able to see the leaves on the trees! (And the numbers on the alarm clock...I was soooo blind!!)
