works fine I destroyed a good Brother printer once using cheap after market toner cartridges. Now I only use brand name Brother toner, even though it costs more
Overpriced but generics broke old Brother and didn’t work Didn’t want to buy overpriced brand name toner cartridge. But generic brands did not work. Not sure how they sell generic cartridges if they don’t work. They may have broke my previous 1 yr or less old brother, so had to buy new Brother printer. Didn’t want to break new one and hoped the real deal would work in the old one. But old one seems broken forever. so much better than off brand we have bought the off brand toners before and they just aren't as good. for this we always buy the manufacturer brand

Brother High Yield toner does exactly that! Printer is shared by husband and self, plus I'm working remotely, so the high yield toner is a must. The last one worked for several months, and the new one arrived just in time!
