Went to visit Dr Haywood with Ultrasounds results in hand. Doctor did not explain or listen to me. Only recommend another procedure. I canceled the appointment the same day. He’s not a good listener. Ask me the same questions twice. I will be going to another location for my appointments
I have been waiting 35 days for test results. I have called 13 times. Completely unacceptable.
He seldom made eye contact. His focus was on reading the medical chart. He did not do any type of routine exam on me. He repeated questions he asked me supporting that he was not engaged. The office staff provided no assistance on information to get blood work done. More interest was placed on making a follow up appointment. Will not return.
His office overchanged me $500.00 They kept saying they will refund it, but never seem to do it. Avoid this place!
This doctor needs a class in bedside manner!!!! Instead of him looking at the chief complaint which gerd and halitosis this doctor advised me that I should go see a dentist ...He informed me too see a dentist!!!lmao If I needed too see a dentist!!! I would have went too a dentist instead of coming too the gastrologer. I wouldn't have booked the appointment too see a gastrologist...total waste of my time and insurance. Once he realized he offended me, he tried small talk, too late jerk I'm out!
I arrived 15 minutes before my appt time as instructed. Forwaited over an hour and a half. At 5 PM most of the staff left and I was told they had no idea how long I would have to wait. At that point, I asked to speak with the Office Manager. 5 minutes later I was told that the Office Manager said to call her tomorrow. I asked again to speak to her and was told “she’s not available”. When I said “but you just spoke to her” the assistant looked embarrassed and said there was nothing she could do.

He is horrible!!! Why am I waiting on results from over 2 weeks ago!!! The labs have been in, but you have not released the information to me the patient. A patient should not receive horrible customer service when waiting on information about their health.
My first visit with Dr, Haywood III was on July 11, 2016 he didn't have good bedside manner to be a doctor he don't seem to care about the patient because if he had he would have done more for me and I have colonoscopy yesterday that is on August 18, 2016 and when I woke up the nurse said she will page Dr, Tommie Haywood where he can explain to me what he found and he finally came and explain to me that I have hemorrhoid problem and he didn't call CVS pharmacy for medication.
Terrible wait time for colonoscopy. Also Dr.Haywood has terrible bedside manner and attitude.
