I love Dr M. He and his staff care about their patients. They take time with you and answer all your questions. They always pick up the phone and call back quickly
Thoroughness, attention to detail and efficiency
I drive 5 hrs total just to see to see Dr Mekelburg. It is worth it - and it should be noted I hate driving! His Front office/nurses really caring and efficient!
Dr. Mekelburg is an excellent Dermatologist and his entire staff is caring and professional. I have recommended him and his staff to many of my friends.
Excellent! Has a outstanding bedside manner and listens to what you're saying. I was so scared about a black area on my leg. He was able to keep me calmed down and said he didn't think it was the big C but wanted to do a biopsy to cross "i"s and cross "t"s. He explained how he would perform the biopsy before he did it and then before each step. Biopsy = GREAT NEWS!

Dr. Mekelburg is knowledgeable , caring , patient and always wants to help his patients get well. His staff is the best I have ever seen because they are cohesive in their goals to help patients needs .
Dr. Mekelburg is the best in every way. I highly recommend him, as well as Dr. Carlson. The entire staff is excellent too.
Thoughtful, caring doctor. Knows how to treat my condition with dignity and minimize pain. Visits are quick, which is all I need, but he will address all questions if you need more time. I’ve been a patient for many years and appreciate the doctor’s consistent high quality care. He doesn’t push expensive cosmetic treatments, which I also appreciate.
