I was in town for a show At Carnegie. Friends were meeting there so I tagged along. Boy I was not disappointed. The petit veal Parmesan was out of this world. And huge! I topped it off with cannolis for desert. Very yummy. While it is expensive, it’s quality makes up for it. Will definitely be back for a special occasion.

The restaurant was jammed and the noise level was very high making it difficult to talk. Waiter was attentive and friendly. Wine and cocktails were good. The ultra-thin crust pizza as an appetizer got mixed reviews. Seafood risotto was too salty and was not hot. Trattoria Dell'Arte is a perfect place to eat before a show. It is walking distance to the Theater District and Lincoln Center. The food was great and the service was extremely friendly and attentive. This is a restaurant that is moderate in price but still has a "special occasion" feel. We enjoyed ourselves and will visit again next time we are in NYC!
