Dined at Carmines on one evening and Trattoria Dell’Arte the next, and the contrast was stark in terms of food quality, value, and customer service. The veal at Trattoria (for $60) was dry and surprisingly small in terms of the portion intended for 2 people. The lobster carbonara was dry and lackluster. Great food and Cosmo!! Our friends loved the lasagna and they thought it was the best they ever had!
excellent service, food was OK. would go again if we are going to Carnegie Hall
Fantastic, it was so good we went there two nights in a row.
Vegetable antipasto is excellent! Branzino was great!
Fantastic place. Pizza is the highlight with super thin crust so crunchy. Hard to get this outside Italy but these guys nail it. Cocktails outstanding the Spicy Marg was perfect with a good jalapeño kick, and try the In Manhattan. We did the lemon pie for desert and loved it. Service is excellent and friendly. We ate here 2 nights before but had to come back.
A favorite for decades, Trattoria Dell'Arte does not disappoint with its elegant, rich charm matched by absolutely delicious dishes. Impeccable service with apt attention to detail made lunch with a very old friend warm and comfortable. As far as my meal, the salmon was cooked to perfection, and their infamous cannolis lived up to their reputation. All around delightful!
Food was amazing! Fun atmosphere and super convenient to walk to any Broadway show from dinner! Can’t wait to go back!
Another fantastic meal! This is always one of our favorite places to go in the city and never disappoints. Fantastic food, and the staff is attentive and friendly, we look forward to our next visit.
