I love this spot and happened to have been there are on a recent quiet afternoon. This place is well attended and it was nice to be there on a slow day for lunch. The food and service were excellent as always. The highlight was the antipasta which I find to be the best in NYC. These offerings are all delicious and fresh.
The friendly and accommodating staff has always been a reason for us to come back. For every Carnegie Hall concert! Varied and tasty menu.
Went before a show at Carnegie Hall - timing was perfect and the waitress guessed we needed to leave by 7:10 - the food and drink were delicious and the service was great - the only complaint is they sat 6 of us in a pretty small table and we were squished - the table had a fold out piece to extend it and it was leaning, was afraid the cocktails were going to fall because of the slant - but overall, still very good
Only downfall was how quick the food came out Didn’t have chance to enjoy a drink before hand
The food was well prepared, but almost every dish we received was served cold, or lukewarm at best. It’s a shame because the restaurant was great otherwise.
