Excellent service and large portions. Large space that is great for bigger parties.
I had made a reservation on Open Table which was accommodated. The Maitre D apologized that though i had requested a quiet table, there really were not quiet spots. He seated us towards the front of the restaruant in a large booth, which was perhaps the “quietest place”. Unfortunately we were near the entrance and it was very drafty and cold. The food was, as always excellent. The service was perfect. We were there pre-concert, so the noise level was okay. Such a convenient restaurant right across from Carnegie Hall.

Our dinner experience was fabulous. The service was impeccable and attentive. The food was delicious and comes out rather quickly when you are there for the early dinner service.
Very good italian food, pizza is fabulous, and the service is kind and fast.
We used to go here for dinner many times when we lived in Manhattan a decade ago. Some things were as good - our waiter was excellent - but some things looked like they had slipped....the food wasn't as hot as it should have been (that thin line when it is an annoyance rather than something to complain about) and it did look like they had tried to squeeze what customers in, we don't remember nearly sitting on someones lap!!! All said, would we go back? Sure - the good more than outweighs the bad.....

A group of ten friends gathered early on Sunday before a performance at Carnegie Hall later that evening. I booked the table a few weeks in advance and asked if I could make arrangements to treat the table to wine and appetizers on a separate bill. Both my phone contact and our excellent waiter could not have been more accommodating. (My phone contact emailed a wine list to me.)
