The staff at Trattoria is always so warm, welcoming and accommodating and the ambiance is the same. Always a great meal and great overall dining experience.
Great dining experience! Nice atmosphere, very good food, excellent service, and close to Carnegie Hall.
Depending on what is ordered, portions can be too large. Menu has a great deal of variety. Room was a tad too noisy.
This restaurant never fails to make me look good when I bring important guests to dine. The atmosphere is always lively, but quiet enough to hear conversations. The staff could not be better. the head waiter/host treats everyone like an important guest. The food is so plentiful and delicious. Do you get my drift?

Trip to NY to see play with old friend.
The staff was very accommodating to my wife's severe and complicated food allergies; which allowed us to celebrate her birthday while on a recent weekend get-a-way to Manhattan. Their Lasagna Bolognese is also truly fantastic!
The food was amazing but our service was lacking! We were served our cocktails pretty quickly but we never received our artichoke appetizer! Our waiter never checked on us for more drinks....once we said we didn’t want a bottle of wine he ignored us. But we were drinking nice selection of bourbon and vodka. Guess he heard our southern accent and figured we weren’t locals. Took awhile to get our check as well. I would recommend for delicious food but stay on top of your waiter!!
