Trattoria Dell’Arte is my family‘s favorite restaurant in all of New York City. We have tried other places, and my kids joke that there are thousands of other restaurants besides Trattoria in Manhattan. But we have tried them and none can compare to this little restaurant with the dark green awning and the big heart across from Carnegie Hall. There is something very special at Trattoria, and it is more than just the amazing, delicious, antipasto bar, or the Margherita pizza appetizer, or the pasta, seafood, and sweet cannoli... read more
Food is good but waiter did not explain special correctly was told a porterhouse steak and actually got a porterhouse pork chop for $40 that seems like an expensive pork chop would not have ordered if it was explain correctly. They did not offer to correct the issue. Restaurant was very nice expect to pay for the ambiance.
Authentic Italian cuisine with a cozy atmosphere, excellent service, and a well-rounded wine list. Our chicken Milanese entrees were large enough to share, and the limoncello cake was heavenly.
Lively atmosphere, interesting menu, go-to place for dinner before Carnegie Hall events.
We came here before our show at 8 pm. The server did not ask if we had any time restraints, and made us wait 15 minutes before he even came to give us our drink orders. The food was very good but the portions were small for the price that was paid. Our server was not attentive at all and we had to ask our busser to get the server so we could order more drinks. The ambience and food were very good, but the service was very lacking especially for the price point.
The chicken piccata, veal Parmesan, and flash fried artichokes are amazing! Sage is a great server.
Impressed from the minute we walked in the door. We were greeted with a smile and conversation. Food was excellent and service even better. Unusual to fine a complete package nowadays. Thank you for a great evening.
Food was good and the vibe was classic NY with the friendly banter with the waitstaff.
The food, wine and service were all outstanding! Will for sure be back when we are in NYC!
