Pre theater on a Sat and it was a zoo, though we were seated close to our res time. The food was good and came quickly and the waitstaff were great. I did not like the Maitre D though. He was distracted and seemed mostly concerned with greeting regulars. I get it as it’s a tourist spot but still more eye contact and graciousness goes a long way. The upstairs seating is quieter but low ceiling makes you feel like Siberia.

Outstanding food. This is a terrific place for pre-theater dining, as the wait staff is well-practiced in shepherding diners through a meal when time's of the essence.
WOW - Nicholas was our server and he was very special. He made us feel as if we were regulars. They have great gluten free options and even gluten free desserts!! Definitely, we'll be back. Much warmer climate than some of their sister restaurants!!
Great lunch with old friends - plenty of variety to satisfy the palates of a foodie group.
I hadn't been here in more than a decade...but now I can't imagine why. Still fun, still a relatively good value, still good food, well prepared, and served by a friendly staff. Feels a bit like a party in there. If they would do a better job of keeping the bathrooms clean (they were pretty awful) all would be perfect.
Very nice, arrived on time, got a large booth upstairs which was empty at the time. Soon became very busy, could not get waiter’s attention, and consequently did not have time for coffee or dessert.
Excellent Tuna steak. The noise level can be very high. Quick service but pleasant. Reservations acknowledged. Antipasta bar has a good selection. A bit pricey but it is across the street from Carnegie Hall
Very popular and for a good reason- half a block from Carnegie Hall. Delightful wait-staff, totally professional, friendly and competent.
