Great Dentist! I have a fear of dentists but Dr. Rice and the hygienist and anathesiaologist made me feel safe and comfortable. They were all patient, listened to my concerns and explained each procedure to me. Im so grateful that I've finally found a Great Dentist!

Good dentist but no cleaning? I thought the dentist and dental assistant were great and liked the office. To be honest, though, I was quite annoyed that I did not get a cleaning during the first appointment and exam, and this was not made clear to me until the end of the appointment. I have NEVER had to schedule a separate appointment for a cleaning; I have been to probably 20 different dentists in five different cities and have never heard of such a thing. It is pretty inconvenient.
Best Dentist Around First, they walk you through the whole office on a quick tour (don't know if everyone does that, but it was the first time a dentist office had done it for me). Then when they are looking at your teeth they spend the extra few seconds explaining exactly what they are doing and why along with a brief disclaimer on why you shouldn't feel so bad because it's 'common' to see this kind of thing so you don't feel so bad for your obvious neglect, but most importantly, they explain how to treat it and eventually ... read more
1st time visite was to replace 2 crowns. Had never been seen in this office before, I am a new patient & they got me right in! Staff is friendly. Scheduled me in for my xrays and cleaning to accomadate my schedule PERFECT.
In good hands Dr Rice and the staff at Turlock Family Dentistry are very nice and help me feel at ease. They answer my questions about procedures or billing and are very professional. They work fast and efficiently which is important in an uncomfortable situation like being in the dentist chair!
Great Experience! Patient experience was the best, there were no long wait times. I felt comfortable and at ease. Dr. Rice was great in explaining and showing you the NECESSARY treatment needed. Hands down the best dental office around.
