I come here every year for my visual exam. I had really really bad vision and finally had to have cataract. Surgery went well. My anxiety was sky high, but it went well. Second eye no anxiety. I have worn glasses for over 60 years I no longer have to wear glasses on. I trust this doctor with my eyesight, which is very very important to me. He also does the Itex because I’m on certain medication’s for lupus that eyes have to be monitored and he’s probably been doing them for the last five years never have. Dr. Brundige is good for routine eye issues and is humble and honest enough to tell you need more help. He was able to diagnose cornea neuropathy and stated that I would need a cornea specialist if the medication that he prescribed didn't work. The cornea injury was caused by a different surgeon at Discover Vision so I am now with a great cornea specialist from a different clinic. Thankful though for Dr. Brundige's compassion and honesty.
Dr Brundige was wonderful as well was his staff. Courteous, listening skill was exceptional as were his support staff.very professional and would highly recommend
Friends recommended that I see Dr. Brundige. An LAL cataract surgery had caused extreme light sensitivity and pain (don’t go to Dr. Jackson). Dr. Brundige diagnosed nerve damage to the cornea and is still treating this 4 months post op. I am hopeful. Timeliness usually good. Had one day when they were short staffed and I was in waiting room for an hour.
Nurse Karissa was great in going through all the things to be done in pre-op. Very professional and thorough in explaining and sharing needed information. Thanks.
Dr. Brundige has been my physician for a long time. He has provided excellent care. I saw him today for preoperative visit before cataract surgery.
I didn’t see Dr. Brundige today, I saw a registered nurse who went through my health history, medications and paperwork. She addressed possible complications and my concerns. Necessary eye medications were ordered in advance. The organization of everything has been exceptional and it gives me confidence going into surgery. I totally recommend Discovery Vision.
Calmed my fears concerning first eye cataract surgery. Surgery went great. Called to check on me evening of surgery. He took time to explain procedures. The staff is excellent and the surgery nurses are the best. Looking forward to doing the other eye. I appreciate that you don't have to wait long when you have an appointment and that he doesn't rush when he is addressing your concerns.
Dr. Brundige is a great physician-explains things well- takes his time with you. Highly recommend!
