Brother P-touch PT-400 Lable Maker Brother requires the Tze tapes for this label maker. Have used Amazon for the tapes due to a better pricing. I’ve never had any problems with the tapes from Amazon BUT the first tape of a 4 pack, when I inserted it and tried to print, the tape split from the laminate and made a mess in my label maker. Disappointed I purchased a two pack of black print on white tape in April of 2021 and last week went to use the second one of the two pack and there was a clear manufacturing defect. The tape was not laminated together and no adhesive either. I've used this brand of laminated labeling tape for many, many years and was very disappointed that the entire cassette was useless and way beyond the return date to do anything but toss it - because one doesn't use all of your labeling tape immediately upon receipt or even in 30 days. ... read more
DEFECTIVE TAPES!!!! I DIDN'T BELIEVE THE REVIEWS!! I USED 2 TAPES AND THEY WERE PERFECT...THEN I TRIED TO USE THE LAST TWO AND THEY WERE DEFECTIVE....I ORDERED ANOTHER P-TOUCH MACHINE (THINKING THAT THE FIRST MACHINE WASN'T WORKING!). THE SECOND MACHINE COULDN'T GET THE TWO DEFECTIVE TAPES TO WORK!!! SO I PAID FOR 4 TAPES AND ONLY 2 WORKED!! This Product is Made in China! Absolute Garbage! I ordered 4 - threw 2 out did not work a tangled mess. I don’t know about the last one haven’t used it yet. A big waste of money. Product comes from China. Never again will I buy this product.
dont work I ordered four of these and not one of them works in the machine. EAch time I insert a tape (properly) into the machine I get a message "NO TAPE"
Did not work after only a few uses I bought a 4-pack of label refills, which was not cheap. The first and second cartridges worked fine. The third one worked for a single label, then got tangled up inside the cartridge and became unusable. Because it took more than 30 days to get to the third cartridge, it was out of warranty/return period. I will not buy multi-packs in the future!
CAN'T RETURN TWO DEFECTIVE TAPES We order several so we don't run out. When we went to get the tape the second and third one were defective. BUT WE CAN'T RETURN IT BECAUSE DATE OF RETURN PAST????????????????????????????????????
Disappointed I have tried similar products and they just didn't measure up to brother genuine. So, I was really disappointed when I did order it directly from the company that one of the cartridges didn't work. I now paid for 4 cartridges, but 3 worked. How is that a deal. From now on, I'm going to have to order one cartridge at a time.
