Loved Union 50 it was our first time. Parking is a problem, it would be nice if they had valet so we didn’t have to drive around the block for 15 mi it’s looking for a spot thereby making us late for our reservation. However, that is the only negative I have for this restaurant. Our server was excellent, and our food and drinks were stellar. I got the rosè brut and my husband got a glass of cab. Great server and staff
Celebrated both my birthday and our anniversary. During dinner we asked each other our favorite place for date night and agreed it’s Union 50. Al ate incredible food and unique cocktails.
We were excited by this menu as we love restaurants that offer small plates and lots of shareable options. But we were underwhelmed by our meal. Everything was just ok. Nothing wowed us. We had the pastrami poutine, wings, pan-fried gnocchi, and shrimp & grits. The shrimp & grits were off of the grand menu, but was still a small serving. 4 pieces of shrimp and a very small amount of grits. We could barely tell there were grits under the shrimp! I would have expected this size of a serving had it been on the bistro menu.
