Sea scallops were excellent. Perfectly cooked. The purée definitely complimented the scallops. Would definitely recommend The mussels were average. The chorizo sauce slightly overpowered the taste of the mussels. Also the size of the mussels were on the petite size
All our meals were great. I had the shrimp and grits and highly recommend them!
As always, dining at Union 50 is a great experience. The food is always prepared well and so tasty!

Having apps and drinks
Another lovely evening at Union 50. Celebrated New Year's a night early and thoroughly enjoyed a slow-paced dinner and drinks. Our server, Tzintzuni, was awesome! He perfectly paced our courses and engaged in conversation, also was fine with letting us sit over beverages after the meal. Delicious food, great wine, a good glass of Scotch - terrific finish to 2016!
A terrific restaurant, great service, innovative cuisine, easy to make a meal out of appetizers, excellent wine list. Waiters are knowledgeable. Valet parking is in a lot that is not obvious when driving to the street address. Entertainment when we were there was very loud preventing easy conversation and average at best. Go early if you are interested in the cuisine, drinks and conversation.
