As a physical therapy assistant I had always been skeptical of chiropractic care. "Is it really fixing the problem if you have to keep going back on a regular basis?" I take it all back now because Dr. Muth's fixed me and is giving me back my life. 2 years ago I got a concussion. I was probably having problems before then, but it wasn't as apparent, or maybe the concussion started it all....who knows. After "recovering" from my concussion I had a wide assortment of symptoms that didn't seem to make sence to multiple doctors. Headaches, back pain, joint pain, muscle pain, numbness/tingling, foggy brain, fatigue, intolerance to exercise, difficulty concentrating, excessive weight gain, irritability, weakness, etc. I had countless blood draws done, CT scan, MRI scan. I saw the family pracitioner, a neurologist, a rheumatologist, my endochrinologist.....no one could find anything wrong with me. I started to wonder if I was imagining it, making it up in my head, going nuts. I was starting to think I was just going to have to get used to it and suck it up. A neighbor (who is a chiropractor) suggested I seek out chiropractic care. I saw a general practitioner and found that while my back felt better after an adjustment for a little while, it did nothing to help my overall health/symptoms. Then I got in touch with Dr. Muths. I wasn't so sure after the first few visits with him. What he told me made sense and I was ready and willing to try anything to get back to feeling even half normal again. After seeing him for about a month I noticed that my headaches, back aches, joint/muscle pain were receding. After about 2 months I could see a change in my energy levels, the numbness and tingling in my fingers were more or less gone. And after about 3-4 months I'd say I'm on my way to feeling closer to my normal again. I am starting to work out again and feel like I am getting something out of it besides pain and fatigue. I know it will take me a while to fully heal and get back to my normal ME again, but I am on my way thanks to Dr. Muths.
