Dr. Valerie Truong is amazingly skilled and kind. She takes the time to answer patients’ questions or concerns in easy to understand language. She not only cares about the health results, but also the cosmetic ones. I highly recommend her.

Dr. Truong is a highly skilled surgeon. She worked quickly and efficiently on my skin cancer. She took a few minutes at the beginning to explain the procedure and answer questions. I was very pleased with the entire process.
I met Dr Truong time when she did mohl’s surgery on my face in Aug 2022. She is in same office as my regular dermatologist who recommended her. I went to surgical center for procedure in Plano. Very very nice facility btw. The mohl’s surgery portion took only about 5 min after initial medical history with her staff. I needed two scrapings / cutting so minimal time for that. I’ve had many Mohs surgeries by four different surgeons on hands and face over a period of 40 years. Four of these have been by Dr. Truong. Everything from pre-surgery discussion to prep to the surgery itself and to closure was as good as I have come to expect. Given the choice, I will choose Dr. Truong for all future Mohs procedures I need.

Dr Truong was professional yet personable. I felt confident in her competency right away. She made a clear effort to communicate what she would do and the timeline it would (and could possibly require). The only thing I would have her do differently is to let me know the length of the scar line in inches instead of millimeters. I was quite surprised to see an 1 1/2 inch scar where there initially was only a 1/4 inch cancer showing. That said, the stitching looks great and is sure to be minimally visible in the future.
