Do not use this company! They will most likely quote you the wrong. They hire bad moving companies. Likely ones that have one star reviews. Then those companies will charge you more fees that were never discussed to move your things. So you will end up paying more the double that your quoted.
They are a broker. You do not know who will be moving your possessions and the price doubles when they show up. contact a reputable national moving company. price will end up being the same.
I was quoted for estimates that they VASTLY underestimated. Day of move and the company here tells me how Value Added uses AI and software that severely underestimates and doesn’t do a good job at all. Value Added also gave me a delivery date estimate that is vastly different. I am paying over double the estimated cost and waiting over quadruple the estimated time for delivery. Bait and switch!!! They load your items then they raise your price. Do not use this company. Raised mine $1000 and continued to be very nasty in the phone with one person telling me to shut up after I asked for a supervisor and he refused. They picked up on the 6th and I still do not have my move here on the 25th. Now they are telling me they have 31 days so I need to stop calling. Quote doubles when the movers get to the house. Multiple broken items and questionable validity of moving company trucks. Company signs are taped with box tape to the truck doors.
Value added moving is a broker company. My stuff finally got here and arrived broken and damaged and the company I signed the second contract with is now saying its only covered for $1,260.00. The representative from value added told me when he sold me the contract for the move it was covered for up to $10,000 worth of damages included with the move. "With us you only sign once!! I would strongly caution anyone considering Value Added Moving & Storage. I was quoted approximately $3,500 to move my 1,600 sq. ft. townhome. I paid $1,468.84 on 2/4 and another $471 on 2/18 in good faith to reserve my move. Then on moving day, I was told my items suddenly required a “full truck” and that I would owe nearly $8,000 to proceed. That is more than double the original quote.
