I have been a patient of Women's Healthcare of Illinois for a few years now. I had what I felt was an emergency and my regular physician was not available so, I booked that earliest appt. with Dr. Foster. Dr. Foster took care to actively listen to my concerns and provided her expert opinion. She was also engaging letting me know that what I am experiencing is normal. I enjoyed the ease of our conversation and her care.
She was my provider throughout my pregnancy, and she was cold, sarcastic, rude, arrogant, and tried to make every appointment mere minutes. She was on call the day I went into labor, and she was dismissive, argumentative, and so hostile when I was the most vulnerable. If I could do it all over again, I would never choose Vanessa to be my provider.
My visit was horrible. I had to get a procedure done from her, and she walked in with an attitude and never said a word to me. I asked her to explain the procedure because I never had it done before, and she didn’t care. She was very rough, and I have been in pain since she did the procedure. She is very horrible and doesn’t deserve to deal with new patients, especially if she’s going to have an attitude all the time. I don’t recommend her to nobody.
She only cares about her time not your. I had a terrible birth experience because of her. Didn't communicate well with me or my spouse.
I've had persistent bleeding which i believe to be caused by hormonal imbalance. Took several months to get an appointment with Dr.Foster. they made me pay before seeing anyone. Then the nurse made me take off my clothes for a pap that didn't happen and I had to sit there during the entire appointment with my pants down while she talked down to me about overeating. She delivered my baby because she was on call and was visibly upset that I dared deliver at 10:30pm when she wanted to go home. Didnt speak to me or give me any directions for follow-up care. Rude, unprofessional. Stay away.
Dr Foster delivered my baby a little over 2 years ago in June 2018. I was 22 at the time and didn’t know what to expect. She answered questions I had before my delivery but she was cold and very sarcastic. I distinctly remember feeling like I was being spoken to as a child. The day of my delivery I was dilated 10 centimeters for a full 60 minutes before she arrived. The nurses told she was “on the way from her home” and “caught in traffic” which I felt was crazy. Terrible
3 visits with this Dr now and I know nothing more than when I came through the door. All she has to say is... Do you have any questions? At my visit yesterday she came in dressed like she was going clubbing and she actually caught an attitude with me because I told her I refuse to take her recommendation (based on the suggestions of Christ Hospital maternal fetal medicine) that I take aspirin daily. I was met with sarcasm and almost rage. I have yet to feel warmth or concern here.
