My husband had a consultation with Dr Sun this morning (a Sat.). Dr Sun is not 'out after every dollar' fir sure as he did not even charge him for the consultation.
Dr. Sun is an excellent dentist, very knowledgeable and friendly. The staff are always proficient, pleasant and accommodating.
Its's always a pleasure to visit Dr.Sun's office. Everyone is pleasant and helpful. The checkup and teeth cleaning was excellent. My Son recommended Dr.Sun when I moved to Lindsay from Mississauga. The hardest part of a move is a new dentist and hairdresser!! Both worked out OK. Carollyn Wilkins
Yes ,if your paying he does good. If gov't is paying you'll be coming back over and over...till you realize.
Had 3 root canals done by Dr.Sun and all three teeth ended up breaking and falling apart. I was told it was what I was eating that caused them to break (one broke off in a piece of bread), he then changed his tune and said that I should have had crowns put on them and was adamant that he had told me to do this after each root canal. I was under my mothers coverage when I had the root canals done so I brought her in and he finally said that he didn't tell us to get crowns because they were expensive. I had a tooth removed by Dr.Sun and while I was in he convinced me to root canal my front tooth, that he saw a cavity. He did such a bad job that my tooth looked black and dead. I returned and the excuse I was given was the blood in the cavity had caused the tooth to look dead. So I ended up in his chair again this time for repair. All I can say is I have never experienced pain like that in my life. He didn't freeze the area and I had tears rolling down my face. I just moved here from Manitoba, l am on odsp.Dr sun drilled out some GOOD fillings l just had put in 2 months earlier. My mouth was frozen, l couldn't object. I guess he figures Gov't pays create a mega bill.HONEST TRUTH PEOPLE.

For the longest time I couldn't afford a dentist so my teeth were not that great. When I went to see Dr. Sun I explained this to him thinking he'd be easy on me. Instead he made me feel like I was a horrible person and I left crying. Now my teeth are getting really bad but I'm afraid to go anywhere now because I don't want to feel like that again.
Dr.sun is the worst dentist I have encountered, don't believe me then just ask any other dentistin the area. Dr. Sun advised me of cavities that didn't exists. Also once during a cleaning he knocked out one of my fillings then charged me full price to replace it !! Upon discussing the appointment with him at a later date on the phone he advised me to never come back !?! Also today a filling he did 1 year ago fell out, so yes he is very nice but is an aweful dentist and always get a second opinion.
