best meal in Indianapolis in years - reminded me of a restaurant in Napa/Sonoma
The food was amazing, and I have to give a special shout out to our server Alex, who was also a sommelier and made an outstanding wine recommendation. He was awesome and made our special night out even better
Vida is hands down the finest eatery in Indy and one of the finest in the country. Food is supreme, service is friendly and informative without being overly haughty that you often find in restaurants of this class. My group of 4 included 3 folks who are not used to fine dining - after they got settled in the lives the experience. Pay the $65 for the 4 course- well worth it.
Amazing restaurant, best place to eat since we moved to Indianapolis. Staff were incredibly knowledgeable. Would eat here everyday if I could.
From the moment we stepped into the space we were impressed. The beautiful greens wall told us we were in for something special. We sat in the larger dining space but it felt private. Farm to table is more than a slogan here. Talented kitchen works with extraordinary sources and creates platebourne delights. Elegant but accessible, nothing crazy (no candied nettles or mushroom ice cream), just crazy good. Front of the house was impeccable in both service and grace. Comfortable seating, tables generously spaced. A terrific dining experience. EAT HERE!
Everything was wonderful once we got seated. There was one rather unfriendly and uncooperative maitre-d' who refused to seat us where we wanted, even though I had booked saying that it was our wedding anniversary, so I'm not sure what the problem was - the manager fixed the seating arrangements (thank you!) and we were treated extremely well by Brandon et al. Thank you for a wonderful memory and excellent food!
Food and service was exceptional. First time eating at Vida. Traveling from Chicago for the Indy 500. Participated in the four course menu and the quality and value of our meals was great. Will definitely visit again when in Indy.
Very much enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Would have liked to have a litter larger menu selection but enjoyed what I had.
