I cannot believe this is a 4 star restaurant. The service was good and the food was alright,but the tuna tartar wasn't fresh. The file was much better at Morton's. They tried to be innovative but we think Mesh is much better than Vida. My husband and I have eaten at many 4 star restaurants in Chicago and Vida would not stand a chance there. Glad we tried it, but we won't go back.

I'm not one for fancy restaurants with carefully arranged plates and small portions but my wife is. So I took one for the team and made a reservation for her birthday. I was very impressed with the décor and ambiance of the restaurant. The seats were comfortable, the tables were spaced appropriately, and the noise level was calm to moderate. Vida is great. The services is wonderful, and we really enjoyed the tasting menu. It is a bit pricey, but well worth it. It is a great special occasion spot.

Vida has quickly become my go to spot if we want to show someone fine dining in Indy. It's a very unique, but not intimidating, dining experience. The food is always incredible and the drinks are always perfect. Plus, the venue is just gorgeous and I love that it's tucked away in a neighborhood. It does get very loud in there which can be tough if you're trying to have conversation with your guests but if it's a larger party, they do have areas of the restaurant to accommodate you. I highly, highly recommend!
